Since 1979, Vince Norton has worked in higher education administration, marketing, admissions, and enrollment management, for both not-for-profit and proprietary institutions. His 35-plus years of experience include 19 years in admissions, marketing, and administration at non-profit colleges, and three years with for-profit colleges. For the last 15 years, he has served as Managing Partner of Norton|Norris, Inc.
Vince is regarded as a leading expert on college marketing and mystery shopping and regularly delivers presentations on this topic for numerous associations. His work with mystery shopping has been published in Career College Central, Career Education Review, and online at MSN.com. His marketing expertise has garnered recognition from the Higher Education Advertising Awards, the Service Industry Awards, and The Council for the Advancement and Support of Education.
Dr. Jean Norris is the leading advocate for the admissions profession and is often called upon to speak at national conferences, commencements, and organizational retreats. Her research, articles, and interviews can be found in many well-known publications serving the sector.
She began her educational pursuit in a 10-month medical assisting diploma program and went on to earn a B.A. in Management from National Louis University; a M.A. in Communication and Training from Governor’s State University and an Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership from the University of Sarasota. Jean is also a Licensed Master Neurolinguistic Programming Practitioner.
In her 28 year higher education career, Jean served in the role of admissions representative, dean of admissions, faculty member, academic dean, vice president of marketing, vice president of enrollment, and vice president of organizational development at private schools, colleges and universities. Currently Jean is a managing partner at Norton Norris, Inc., a Chicago-based marketing/consulting/training firm focused exclusively in the higher education sector.
Jean is the developer of EnrollMatch® – the ethical enrollment process, a comprehensive admissions training program offering proven results to balance compliance and performance. In 2015 Dr. Norris launched a patent-pending software that will transform the higher education industry entitled, My Guidance Coach® (MGC).
In 2012 Jean and her son, Mike, authored and published their first book entitled, “No Sugar Added – Straight Talk From Those Living With Diabetes” with all proceeds to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) in their search for a cure. The International Independent Publishers Association recognized their book with a bronze medal from amongst hundreds of titles submitted from 16 countries.
Connie has been in higher education for almost 20 years in various executive level capacities including marketing, admissions, and advising. She and her team of account managers in the Assessment Department coordinate scheduling, data collection, project management and report writing.
Connie has effectively conceptualized, directed and assessed compliant marketing and admissions communications for more than 10 years. As a practitioner her marketing campaigns and collateral have been recipients of gold, silver, and Best of Show awards from the Higher Education Marketing Report. She now uses this background to inform messaging and shape creative as she directs a talented team of designers and account managers in the Nn marketing division.
Connie holds an M.B.A. from Roosevelt University and a Certificate in Strategic Integration of Technology and Business Solutions from the University of Chicago.
Trent has been in digital marketing for almost 10 years in various executive level capacities including account management, strategy, execution and sales. He and his team of account managers in the Marketing Department focus on client outcomes in campaign strategy, media, PPC, SEO, social media, content, and website design.
Trent completed the capstone to his MBA at Notre Dame and a double major in Economics and Finance from North Central College.
Dr. Andrew Beedle specializes in higher education marketing strategy, lead generation and conversion, effective campaign design and execution, pay per click advertising (PPC), search engine optimization (SEO), and social media management.
Dr. Beedle was formerly a Professor of Philosophy at Grand Valley State University in Michigan and a Visiting Professor of Philosophy at Trinity College in Connecticut.
Andy holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Connecticut and a B.A. in Philosophy from Carleton College.
